ThinkReality A3 Companion App
UX / UI Design
Project Overview
As part of the A3 glasses designed for enterprise, Lenovo developed a mobile Companion App to provide customers with greater control over their augmented reality experience through the use of familiar touch interactions on their phone.
My Contributions
I led the design of the A3 Companion App, and was directly responsible for delivering information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, visual mockups, design system, interactions, and final specifications. I conducted user tests, iterated and improved designs, followed brand guidelines, communicated with stakeholders, and interfaced directly with our team of developers.

Spring 2021
When the ThinkReality A3 glasses are connected to a mobile device, the Companion App allows the user to navigate and make selections with the phone's touchscreen, turn their phone into a raycast pointer, control settings related to accessibility, interact with 2D apps in 3D space, and access helpful user information including tooltips and a user guide.
Clickthrough prototype used to show key interactions and navigation while wearing A3 augmented reality glasses.
